This spacious cabin is part of a duplex, invites up to eight guests. With a Queen bed and a double bed and 2 twin beds in the other room along with a double-sized sleeper sofa. The wood-burning fireplace sets the stage for cozy evenings, creating a warm ambiance that complements the comfort of the cabin. A fully stocked kitchen, just bring your own food, coffee, and condiments/spices, and let this become your hub for shared moments. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination and a separate vanity The space Welcome to Valhalla Resort! We’re nestled along Eagle Cliff Road bordering RMNP. You can hike directly into the park from your cabin. We have several hikes that take you through some beautiful scenery with abundant wildlife and views. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax on our forested, ten-acre grounds with a pool (summer season only), and a playground, clubhouse, volleyball and basketball. The vibe here is cozy, laid-back, and old-school, with a mix of historic rental quarters and newer, more modern dwellings to choose from. We’re five minutes from downtown Estes Park and just a few minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. This cabin is able to be booked with its other half, Cabin 12, creating a 4 bedroom 2 bath cabin with 2 kitchens; there is a door joining the two halves if you want more space for family memories. Necessities: Our cabins come equipped with all bedding, linens, towels, soap, paper products, pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, coffee pot, tea kettle, serving dishes and utensils you will need during your stay. We also provide salt and pepper; however, we do not provide any other spices, cooking oil, food items, coffee (we do provide coffee filters), shampoo/conditioner, or cleaning products including laundry detergent so please make sure to plan accordingly. Guest access You'll have full access to your private cabin, as well as our grounds and shared amenities during your stay. A few things to know before booking: Guest Registration Rates are based on the number of guests included in your reservation. Please ensure your reservation reflects the correct number of guests, as amenities are reserved for registered guests only. Additional charges apply for unregistered guests staying in the cabin or using property amenities. Wi-Fi & Cell Service Each cabin has its own dedicated Wi-Fi router, and guest Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, including the clubhouse and seasonal pool area. All cabins include Roku TV service. Cell service is generally reliable for Verizon and T-Mobile users, though T-Mobile coverage may be less consistent in parts of downtown Estes Park. Parking This cabin includes parking for up to two vehicles. Overflow parking is available elsewhere on the property if needed. Trailers, motorhomes, oversized vehicles, and OHVs are not permitted. Check-In Requirements All guests must present a valid government-issued ID and credit card at check-in. We do not permit third-party bookings; the guest named on the reservation must be present at check-in. Getting Around From July through September, the Town of Estes Park operates a seasonal shuttle service with a nearby stop at the corner of Highway 66 and Eagle Cliff Road, providing convenient access to downtown Estes Park and other popular destinations. Other things to note Safety: Please note our property is wild and rugged, with cliff features, boulders, slopes, uneven surfaces, and regular wildlife visits (bear, elk, wild cats, and more). Use caution around any natural terrain, understand and follow wildlife safety practices, and abide by our pet, fire, hot tub (if your unit includes one), and on-site rules as posted in your cabin guide. Hot tubs [if applicable] are for use at your own risk and not protected by a gate; the hosts are not responsible for injuries resulting from the use of the hot tub, pool or any of our other amenities. Guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from the use of the property, inclusive of but not limited to the house, hot tub, pool, clubhouse, fireplaces, etc., regardless of the nature of the accident, injury, or loss. Seasonal Information: Summer/Early Fall: This is the high season! Note that certain cabins and condos can get toasty during the daytime we do not have AC in any of our cabins, but at night typically cool off significantly. There is a ceiling fan and we provide fans for each bedroom. Fire season typically falls between summer and early fall in the area, so air quality may be unhealthy during this time, particularly among sensitive groups. Please check the local news for any active fires if you have anyone in your party with sensitivities. Check out the Rocky Mountain National Park website ahead of time for more information on Timed Entry Permits during peak season (typically May-October). More information can be found at Timed Entry Permit System - Rocky Mountain National Park. Winters & Shoulder Season: Winter in Estes is magical, and we’re happy to make recommendations on activities! While US-34 east of the Park remains open and plowed, if you’re planning to visit during the winter/shoulder season, consider snow tires and any other supplies you may want for winter conditions. Trail Ridge Rd and other routes over the continental divide close seasonally every year, so access to Grand Lake and the western part of RMNP requires rerouting through I-70 to the south (which adds about 3-4 hours to the trip). During winter, watch out for snow shedding from roofs and icy/snowy walkways along our rugged grounds. We’ll send more winter info about a month before arrival. Let us know if you have questions!
