Enjoy a rejuvenating stay in our bright and airy 2600 sqft home with a huge private yard under mature trees fronting 200 feet of lakeshore. You can swim, cycle, kayak or canoe (boats provided), fish, birdwatch, cross-country ski or hike right out the door. The home is fully equipped with wifi, smart tvs, gas barbeque and lakeside firepit. Located 70 minutes north of Portland, 15 minutes west of Augusta, our home is away from it all in the quiet woods, but close to convenient amenities. Peace. The space The house is located on a private paved loop in a very quiet setting nestled in central Maine's lakes region. Enjoy all that the Maine countryside offers: quiet backroads (great for cycling), farmstands, bakeries, artisans, and hiking trails. The famed Belgrade golf course is 20 minutes away. You are well situated to wile away the days experiencing lakes, woodlands, farms, and nearby mountains, or simply hang out enjoying the panoramic views of the lake, observing the loons and eagles that make this pond their home. Guest access The entire house and yard are yours to enjoy. While this is our home, we reserve some cabinets and closets for your personal items: you have plenty of room to unpack and make yourself at home. Other things to note Please take note of the balconies in the photos: these are wonderful for panoramic views of the lake, but could be a hazard for children who are tempted to climb.
