In the summer there are almost unlimited activities close bye. Nearby hiking trails abound including Paige Meadows and the Tahoe Rim trail. At beautiful Lake Tahoe enjoy stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, river rafting on the Truckee river, bike riding on the bike paths, mountain biking, boating, water skiing and wake boarding at the lake which is just one mile away. Scenic Lake Tahoe cruises are available on the Tahoe Gal at Tahoe City. Enjoy numerous music and wine tasting festivals during the summer. Many restaurants are close by including Firesign Café a short one mile walk or bike ride that serves what some locals believe is the best breakfast on the north and west shore. Sunnyside resort and restaurant with the largest deck on the lake is only one mile away.
