Relax among the redwoods! Be our guest in this charming 19 ft glamping camper after a day exploring the coast or hiking breathtaking trails through Redwood State Parks. Nestled beside the main house on our peaceful 2-acre Fort Dick property, the camper offers morning coffee views of towering redwoods, giant old-growth stumps, and lush ferns. Just 4.6 miles to the beach, with Wi-Fi, smart TV, and private parking. Pets welcome — must be cat friendly. The space Step into a peaceful country retreat on our quiet 2-acre property in Fort Dick, just minutes from Redwood National and State Parks and the beach. Your cozy 19 ft glamping camper is nestled beside our main house, surrounded by towering redwood trees on neighboring land, lush ferns, and giant old-growth stumps that feel straight out of a fairytale. Inside, you’ll find a queen-size memory foam bed plus a small fold-down single bed (for children up to 100 lbs). The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, and dual sinks (oven not functional). Coffee, sugar, and creamer are provided. A small full bathroom with an RV toilet and shower is included, stocked with fresh sanitized towels and linens between every guest. Please note the RV water heater provides 5–10 minutes of hot water. Outside, relax on the covered patio or gather at the picnic area to soak up the forest atmosphere. Parking for two cars is available on-site. Pet-friendly (pets must be cat-friendly). Smoking is allowed outdoors only, with trailer windows and doors closed. We are actively improving the property through seasonal tree removal and landscaping projects during late winter/spring, so you may notice occasional daytime noise or see us tending the grounds. If you need more space, check out our Redwood Retreat apartment located behind our shop! Guest access Guests have access to the trailer and area under carport, the cleared area directly behind the carport, and the gravel parking area to the right of the carport. Please do not explore the forest as you can cross into neighboring property. Please respect the privacy of our neighbors. Other things to note Best suited for 2 adults and 1 child. During the winter months, we get A LOT of rain and wind. Please be aware that limbs and debris may fall from the redwoods and the power could go out for 1-6 hours during big storms. The redwoods can also fall during these storms. So please note that if a strong storm system is coming in we may ask that you cancel for a full refund for your safety. The host is not responsible for any damages due to weather. Will not refund for weather unless a weather event has a major impact on the area. Bring any extra linens you may need. Those with disabilities may have a hard time entering the trailer. Please note that this is a small camper with a very small bathroom. If this will be an issue for you please do not book. Toilet use instructions. RV toilets do not operate like traditional home toilets. They use very little water and must be used differently to avoid clogs. Please follow these instructions to prevent a clog during your stay. ONLY flush small amounts of toilet paper at a time. No other toilet paper products can be flushed other than the toilet paper provided Step 1- Press the foot pedal halfway to fill the bowl with some water (fill about halfway) Step 2- do your potty business Step 3- flush the toilet by holding the foot pedal ALL THE WAY DOWN for 5 seconds. All done! Our property boarders Pelican Bay State Prison. You can not see the prison but you can hear the yard speakers, range practice, and sometimes music. It’s mostly quiet, but you can hear it at times. We are also in range of hearing our volunteer fire station tone out
