A fire pit on your deck is perfect for those cool Sonoma Coast nights, while your secluded hot tub is the perfect place for a romantic rendezvous as the sun sets over the Pacific in a nightly blaze of color and drama. But don't think you give up the views when you go inside: the great room boasts a glass sliding door that brings the outdoors in, with a plethora of picture windows framing glorious panoramas. Here, you'll see the outdoors in its natural state, from harbor seals hunting for wild king salmon to the American Bald Eagle presiding over its seaside domain. The dining area, with unique art pieces gracing the background walls and a one-of-a-kind seashell table easily accommodate six, appeals to full families entertaining for the evening, as well as more intimate gatherings. The Chef's Kitchen is carefully appointed to accommodate the needs of everyone from a talented home cook to your private chef, with high end appliances. The large Boos prep table serves also as seating for two, providing the perfect spot for morning coffee (of course, you might prefer it on the sunset deck). The main level master suite features a walk-in closet, bathroom and an oversized shower with heated floors. A large picture window to the creek side gives the sensation of staying in a luxurious tree house. Downstairs, the second master suite looks across the Russian River estuary and is footsteps to the outdoor hot tub. This is truly a modern luxury home, with all the conveniences of urban design while preserving the quiet beach vibe, all within 15 minutes of both Bodega Bay and the Russian River Valley. Of course, neighboring the River's End Restaurant where a world-class dining experience awaits. The space The Sunset House is perfect for two couples or a small family. The house features two independant master suites and a sleeper sofa in the living room with sweeping views of the estuary. The modern space beautifully connects the outdoors to the living space. Nature can be viewed from the comforts of the couch, the velvet swivel chair, or lounging on the private balcony with the gas firepit. This peaceful setting is surrounded by nature in a serene village of only 90 people. A true escape from the crowds and large metros - a perfect place to unwind and relax with a great mix of adventure if you desire it. Guest access Our guests enjoy access to the entire Sunset House and exclusive river access for easy kayak launches. Other things to note With the natural setting of this location, guests should be mindful and care for the their safety of all guests. Some unique considerations for enjoying our nature: Maintain safe distance from all wildlife. Seals require at least 150 feet distance. Practice normal safe practices with the water environments (hot tub, river, ocean), stay CLEAR of the mouth of the Russian River and DO NOT ATTEMPT to travel through the mouth, watch for sneaker waves on the ocean, never turn your back to the ocean, and do not swim in the Pacific Ocean in the Jenner area, and follow all local rules and regulations pertaining to the access and use of the surrounding natural resources.
