The house is located 5-10 minutes from the center of the adorable towns of Gardiner and New Paltz respectively. In these towns you can explore to find charming restaurants, bars, wineries, cafes, yoga studios, massage spas, and shops. We recommend you to get around by car. About kayaking: we provide kayaks. You can kayak up and down the river. To kayak all the way to the downtown New Paltz (you should bring river shoes, as there are 1-2 small spots where it gets shallow), it may take about 2.5 hours - we recommend you have transportation scheduled to pick you up at the dock there if so.
