Beyond our gated entry lined with olive and orchard trees, one feels a sense of the "old Valle". The house, bistro and picturesque ranch are shrouded by produce trees and flanked on both sides by rows of grape vines that make up this working wine property. The space This versatile space represents an extraordinarily unique opportunity for adventurous, fun-seeking folks and groups, as this evolving property is truly one-of-a-kind; a very special place in a natural setting that will give you a genuine taste of the working Valle, and will make an exciting headquarters for your group to explore and celebrate while you plan your experience, or launch wine tasting and gastro-tourism adventures in the Valle de Guadalupe. Our property offers a fun & splendidly beautiful layout on which to retreat at the end of each day of your odyssey throughout the area. There is nothing else like this currently being offered in the Valley, with breathtaking panoramic views and 80 hectarias (200 acres) of private land on which to roam. The Ranch House with its expansive terraces and verandas, outdoor kitchen & pop-up bistro, olive grove seating and private back patio is ideal for small groups, and is particularly suited for gastro-tourists, adventurous/sporty types and “eco-tourists” alike. Your group can take in the seclusion and shelter of the orchard and the gardens, or explore the vineyard and hike, drive or ride on the property’s mountain roads and walkways, where you can enjoy the rugged solitude and majestic beauty of this enchanted country right in “the Heart”, but on the cusp, of the Valle de Guadalupe, just adjacent to the Kumiai indigenous community of nearby San Jose de La Zorra in the mountains just above. Guest access Please keep in mind that we are an operating winery & bistro, and will therefore frequently be hosting private & group tastings at our cava on the upper level of the property, as well as guest chefs and other "gastro-pop-up" events occasionally at our pop-up bistro and olive grove in front of the ranch house in which you will be staying. REMEMBER- AS GUESTS, YOU ARE V.I.P., MEANING YOU ARE ALWAYS INVITED TO OUR REGULAR EVENTS, AND ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO JOIN US AND/OR PARTICIPATE. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED From time to time, we also host larger functions such as group parties for familial and other special occasions, HQ for groups attending weddings across the road at Jardin Decantos (occasionally hosting weddings ourselves), executive retreats, business groups, or company events and soirees (Please inquire about this, if you are interested in booking such an event); but we will of course give you advance notice of any such plans ASAP when you book with us, so as to avoid surprises. These types of events notwithstanding, the entire property is yours to explore or recreate on at your leisure; accessible in its entirety at all times. Depending on how busy things are in the Valley, most any of the locations on the entire property can usually be made available in a convenient fashion to you (winery tastings & events notwithstanding), and remember that our pleasantly temperate Cava (wine cellar) can sometimes be reserved for private wine tastings (Reservations to be ensured with advance notice). Other things to note Group capacity overflow (for parties or events, please ask for details concerning groups of over 8 people, as extra charges will apply) can easily be accommodated at a handful of hotels and/or B&B's on the same road or within a 1-2 km radius, including (in order of proximity) Terra del Valle B&B, Hotel Boutique de Valle de Guadalupe, Villa Corsua, Quinta Monasterio, Entre Vinedos, Agua de Vid, Vinya Abril, or Hotel Boutique de Valentino & Cabanas Valentino. SPECIAL OCCASIONS / EVENTS / PARTIES / LIVE MUSIC: Add-on activities, excursions and special requests such as wine tastings, parties, or events for special occasions, may be made available or arranged for part or perhaps all of your stay for an extra fee and with advance notice (1-2 weeks) and a 50% non-refundable deposit. But unfortunately, these types of reservations cannot be made available for short-notice/Instant Booking guests and arrivals, so our policy is that short-notice requests of this nature simply will not be accommodated due to the time constraints involved in coordinating them. As you might imagine, there may be additional running costs and considerable work involved with arranging any of these types of activities, as these things require a substantial amount of planning and naturally, lead-time. So, the more advance notice, the better. Please contact your host with your ideas and/or plans. Wineries, restaurants and other businesses throughout the Valle de Guadalupe are closely observed and frequently monitored for permitting violations by local authorities. Business owners across the Valle face scrutiny on a daily basis with regard to event and/or noise regulations and permitting requirements, and these are strictly enforced by local authorities, sometimes resulting in stiff penalties and fines being assessed to proprietors. To avoid such undesirable scenarios, we and our neighbors therefore urge full and complete up-front transparency in your communication with us and our management with regard to these types of plans, should you have them. We appreciate your honesty, and will be more than glad to help you set up your event. But please keep in mind that failure to inform us in this regard may result in penalties, including assessment of substantial fines stemming from unwanted involvement of local law enforcement, national guard, or the Mexican military. We will not be held responsible for such violations.
