Welcome to your spacious home in Patan at hostel nextdoor. We are located near old Patan, a perfect place to explore spiritual philosophies and traditional crafts of Nepal. This studio apartment is an airy room with en-suite bathroom and a cosy, equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge, and tea/coffee station. There is also a workdesk and a sitting area. A perfectly private space in a hostel where you can meet other travellers when you prefer. Breakfast is included in the room rate. We are a mid-size hostel with 24 bunk-beds and three private rooms, including this penthouse. We have just recently completed our space with luxurious bedding and amenities so that you have great comfort during your stay. On the ground floor, we have a cosy outdoor space with picnic tables - a great place to socialize as you order from our cafe/bar . We also host multiple events, focusing on travel and sustainability, so you can get to know like-minded locals. We really are a unique space. The hostel is founded by a local travel foundation that hosts the Solo Woman Travel Challenge - a travel grants platform that funds and supports solo journeys for Nepali women travellers. We also engagee local travellers, and you can easily build connections to explore different corners of Nepal - beyond the trodden trails! Your studio apartment is completely private. You can also access all other shared spaces of the hostel - the recreation room, outdoor seatings, and fully-equipped shared kitchen! Our core operation team is available 24.7 at the property to help our guests plan their travels as well as address any needs. The founders are regularly in the hostel to host several events, so you will get to meet us :) We are located in a relaxed walkable neighborhood near the old town of Patan. Within a couple mins walk, you will find a large number of cafes, restaurants, bars, and cultural attractions. There are several banks and ATMs in the area as well.
