Guest access You have access to the entire apartment except for the other bedrooms. During your stay I try my best to be available if you need something. If we both have time, it would be cool to connect over some food or drinks :) Other things to note Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Who do I share the apartment with? A: You will share the common areas with up to 3 other people, typically young professionals or students from around the world. Most guests stay here between 2 to 6 months, sometimes more than a year. Q: What's the laundry situation? A: Like most homes in NYC, we don't have in-house laundry facilities. A good laundromat is just one block away where self-service machines, as well as inexpensive wash and fold service, are available. Q: Can I have a tour of the apartment before booking? A: We are typically at full occupancy and thus unable to accommodate in-person viewings. Q: Can I have the exact address before booking? A. We are not able to give out our exact address for obvious security reasons. Please check out the map in the listing for an approximate location and use our directions to calculate your commute, etc. Q: Can I lock my room? A: You can lock your room from the inside for privacy, but not with a key. This is in compliance with the city's regulations. Our minimum stay here is typically 30 days, so the amount of turnovers is minimized. Applications are reviewed carefully, and we try very hard to provide a safe and harmonious environment for everyone. Q: Is the neighborhood safe? A: The short answer is "Yes". New York is the safest large metropolis in the US, and NYPD crime data suggests that our neighborhood is as safe as most neighborhoods in the city. However, it is hard to give a definitive answer regarding the perception of safety. Given its status as one of the most visited cities in the world, it's important to exercise normal precautions. Q: What's the visitor policy? A: In general we welcome occasional visitors who are respectful and discreet. However, all visitors must be approved by your host. Simply let us know your situation prior to your reservation and we can work something out. There might be an additional charge.
