Lovely Nevada City Home with Cottage

A Magical private acre with a calming atmosphere of peacefulness. Located only 8 blocks from dwntn Nevada City, it is a visual picnic of colorful gardens, expansive green lawns, and a large pool: all seasonal. This Home offers an unusual sense of privacy. A dining room fireplace (seating for 12), a fully stocked kitchen, wood stove & shabby chic decor are touches that will make for a very comfortable stay. An older cared-for home with plenty of space, 6 bdrms 7 beds. The pool: not heated The space This is a very large, older home, tastefully decorated in what is called Shabby Chic. The description I hear consistently from those who gather here is: Spacious, Comfortable, Clean, Cozy, Peaceful! The kitchen is well stocked, the dining room lends to intimate meals in a defined room with a fireplace. There is both forced Air heat and a wood stove. Although the bedrooms are generally small, they are nicely furnished with comfortable beds and down comforters. All look out to a very private landscaped acre of lawns, flower beds, and a pool, all seasonal. There is 1 room in the house, off the Living Room, dedicated to children's play. Guest access The sandbox and outbuildings are unavailable. Please do not uncover the sandbox. Ping pong table/basketball hoop/ Climbing structure/ Pool toys/swim vests/ outside adult and child toys are available Only the guests in the Airbnb group are allowed on the property or to use the pool. Everyone under 16 years old needs to be in the pool area with an adult. No exceptions, please. Non-swimmers must wear a swim vest provided Nevada City enforces a 10 pm quiet time Other things to note Garbage: 90 GAL RECYCLE BIN and 90 GAL GARBAGE BIN outside against the fence. REQUIRED: SEPARATE ALL garbage B4 putting in the designated bin My home is very clean, sanitized, with fresh linen and plenty of clean towels. There are Pool towels/ Bathroom towels, and River towels. Please do not mix them. River towels stay outside. If you moved furniture or anything around, please put it back where it was B4 you leave. Upon departure: Dirty dishes into the dishwasher Wipe surfaces Used towels: put in laundry room. Used sheets/cases taken off: left on the bed. Fold blankets: left on the bed. Trash out: SEPARATED Clean up your mess, please. Thank you!
