Comfy queen bed sleeps two, a cozy respite from bustling city. 1 block from High Line, Whitney Museum and Meatpacking- perfect location! About the apartment... This sunny, cute and cozy one bedroom features rooftop views and garden exposure. Stylishly designed, modern and crisp, very clean and tidy. It's ideal for a couple or individual, as the Queen size bed sleeps two. The bed is a brand new Tuft & Needle mattress, and it is beyond comfortable. Clean sheets and luxury bath towels are provided. High speed WiFi internet included. Gas stovetop, microwave, toaster and hot water boiler for your use. About the building... Pre-War Townhouse-style walk-up building. The apartment is on the top floor but there are only 3 flights of carpeted stairs, and it's a very easy walk-up. You may not want to pack a giant piece of luggage unless you have a friend helping you. I myself have carried a 50-lb. bag down the stairs, but have help getting it back up after trips. There are only 7 neighbors, so the building is very quiet. There are two front doors to the building with a buzzer for entry. Although there is no doorman, it is very secure and safe. Please note the building does not allow animals. About your host... I am very hospitable and want to make sure you enjoy your stay. I am easily accessible even if I am away, so no worries about having questions for me. I am very responsive. The most important thing for me is to make sure you are comfortable! Guests will have the full apartment to themselves. Key pickup: We can arrange prior to your arrival. I like to make sure guests are comfortable, so plan to hear from me upon check-in and text or email during your stay. I am accessible, so I would rather have a guest tell me they need something during their stay than say they didn't have it after they leave! About the neighborhood... Horatio Street is one of the most picturesque blocks in the West Village, steps from the best restaurants, the Meatpacking District, SoHo, TriBeCa and easily accessible (3 blocks walk) to 14th St Subway station (A,C,E,L) and 14th St. Subway Station (1, 2, 3). There is usually plenty of street parking in the neighborhood and there are also many parking garages available nearby. Nearby restaurants: One block from Pastis, STK, Bagatelle, Standard Grill, Dos Caminos, Soho House and more! Fabulous shopping: Jeffrey, Apple Store, Sephora, Theory, DVF, Vince, Warby Parker, Paige Denim, Rag & Bone, Intermix, Tory Burch, Hermes and more! One block from Gansevoort Street entrance to the High Line and Whitney Museum! Overall, a very safe and clean neighborhood that has everything to offer. Daytime strolls and shopping, and great nightlife. The easiest way to get to my apartment from the airport (Newark, JFK or LGA) is to take a cab. From Newark, expect to pay $75, JFK $55, LGA $35 (excludes tip). I can provide directions vis Subway or cab when working out arrival details, just ask me! Guest access Guests will have the full apartment to themselves.
