Honeydew Point lake house is a secluded "Old Florida" vintage get away on the Nature Coast. We are tucked away in a semi secluded area on a private dead end street. The house overlooks a beautiful, quiet cove on a canal that leads to big Lake Henderson. There is a private dock for fishing & relaxing. We are away from the hustle of the big lake and the city, but it's just around the corner if you want it! Honeydew is a very short drive by boat or car to Historic downtown Inverness. The space This is a comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath house at the end of a very quiet street. Honey Dew is on a canal that leads to the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes. The covered back porch is a great spot for relaxing with a lake view. The Master bedroom has an en suite with tub. The guest bath has a standing shower stall. I have tried to include extra items for your comfort. Please use as needed. Guest access Guests are free to use the entire home & the boat dock. Other things to note ~We are on well water so I would suggest bringing drinking water for coffee & such. Showering is fine. ~The kitchen light switch is in the hall. (Think behind the refrigerator wall.) ~Light for outdoor grill area is by the dryer in the laundry room. ~The closest boat ramp is at the 44 bridge. You can put in there & drive your boat around. We do have room at the house for your trailer. ~3 miles from the Withlacoochee bike trail. Bikes are not provided but you are welcome to bring your own. You can also rent them on the trail. I have maps & rental info at the house. ~You are welcome to bring your own kayaks & that is at your own risk.
