Note: We prefer long term , 31 days or more but are open to shorter No pets! Casa Nueva Vida is the cornerstone of an intimate collection of adobe structures known as Casa Encantada. Situated on what was originally Taos Pueblo land dating back over 400 years, the complex has a long, storied history. Once a family compound in the 1930’s, complete with chapel & stables, the buildings have been respectfully re-purposed & rejuvenated while retaining the authenticity and character exclusive to Taos. The space We particularly welcome and prefer adult couples. If you should have pets, our daughter owns the casita next to ours and we can check availability for you there. Although we love animals, we don't ever allow pets. Depending on your situation, we sometimes allow infants but prefer no children due to fragile items in our personal home. Casa Nueva Vida’s location is one of the most desirable in the Town of Taos. Only a short, four-block walk to the Plaza, Liebert Street is lined with magnificent cottonwood trees. Positioned at the back of the compound, Casa NV benefits from its neighbor, the Wurlitzer Foundation. This heavily wooded adjacent land provides extraordinary seclusion. Peacefully quiet yet just a leisure stroll away from museums, shopping, dining, live music and more. Located in one of the premier, historic and authentic locations in Taos. Everything is here for you to use, even our "share bar" where we keep a full stock of alcohol should you need it. Just replace it with same brand or better before you leave. Other things to note We are very strict about occupancy. ONLY those individuals listed on the contract are allowed in our property at any time. No visitors, day or night guests, or parties are allowed at any time. If you have friends or family here, you may wish to write us in advance to discuss and get approval. Again, this is our home, not a typical rental, and we only offer it a few times per year.
