This single family home is located within walking distance of downtown Hallowell, a music/arts hub in Central Maine. Private rooms are located on the second floor and have access to a half bath. The shower is located on the first floor and is shared with the owner. The home has been recently remodeled and features hardwood floors, colorful rooms and a quiet atmosphere. Guests will have the entire upstairs and use of half-bath. Kitchen privileges may be negotiable for longer stays. I am a part time music teacher, so I am available at different times during the day. Neighborhood is on a hill, which is great for active walks, not so great if you have mobility issues. Wooded walks are available nearby at the Vaughan Estate, Jamie’s pond, and the Hallowell recreation area. The Kennebec Rail Trail is a 13 mile bike/walking loop from Gardiner to Augusta, which is accessible from downtown Hallowell. Hallowell is located 7 miles from Concord bus lines and 3 miles from the airport. Taxis are available, as well as Uber. There is a TV with Netflix access
