Silver Linings Guest Cottage is the ideal place to unwind in picturesque Parys. Set in a beautiful garden and walking distance from the river, this little cottage offers a private entrance, lounge, kitchenette, double bedroom clothed in egyptian cotton and en suite bathroom boasting a shower and bath. The space The cottage has a lounge area with comfortable seating, air conditioning and mini library. The modern kitchen which forms part of the open plan area of the lounge is fully equipped for self-catering with a glass top stove /oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee percolator. On arrival you will receive some milk and cookies/rusks to get you started. There is a selection of teas, ground and Instant coffees available. The crockery and utensils are of top quality and the wine and drinking glasses are all crystal. Please note that you cannot drink the water from the tap in the Parys area, so I supply a 5 litre bottle of drinking water during your stay. The carpeted bedroom is equipped with a Queen size bed with goose down duvet and pillows, Egyptian cotton sheets and electric under blankets (for Winter). Extra mohair blankets and throws are available for very cold days. Excellent lighting next to the beds makes for good reading. There is also plenty of cupboard and drawer space for that adventurous packer! The bathroom has a full large glass shower and a long rectangular bath, hand basin and toilet. There is a double bar heater in the bathroom to warm up those chilly mornings and nights. The bathroom comes fully equipped with luxury amenities for guests to use freely and top quality towels are supplied. Guest access The outside area is available for guests to use freely. There is a built in braai in the gazebo area if you want to braai. There are comfortable couches to lounge around on and a dining room table with 8 chairs, if you want to host a special dinner. We also have a day bed outside for those wanting to laze in the sun or catch an afternoon nap.
