Hawk's Landing is a secluded getaway close enough to Tacoma and Seattle that the 'bustle' is minutes away. In Federal Way you can eat from global cuisines, shop, see movies, access the Kitsap Peninsula, Mt. Rainier, the Tacoma Glass Museum, and other unique venues and activities. This is a MIL apartment attached to our home, with a private entry and deck, in-bedroom gas fireplace, full kitchen, and living room. SeaTac 25-35 min N; Seattle/Bellevue 45-55 min. The space CHECK-IN 3-8 PM preferred, unless previously arranged. POST 10 PM CHECK-IN limited. It can be disruptive to other guests if we don't know in advance. NOT ADA COMPLIANT* STEPS & UNEVEN TERRAIN * NO PETS , NO EXCEPTIONS * LIMITED PARKING, 1 VEHICLE/STAY SMOKE/VAPE/DRUG FREE, NO EXCEPTIONS. NO PARTIES Guest access This separate, but attached apartment has porch decks on both the water side and 'tree' side of the building, and guests have access to a huge deck with hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit. Though we do live in the main part of the home, you can be as separate or included as you wish. We have our own private routine, but don't mind interruptions to visit! During your stay We are available by text and want you to ask for anything you need. We'll do our best to accommodate any reasonable request. Other things to note NO SMOKING means no tobacco, vaping, cannabis or any other substance. This is a No Smoking property. You can't smoke across the street without bringing the smell back with you, so NO, no smoking. I hope that comes across -- with humor and goodwill -- but clearly, NO SMOKING. Have I mentioned our wonderful dogs? They will want to meet you and are happy to play fetch or just have you pet them. They have access to the yard but spend most of their time in our part of the dwelling. They do not have access to the rooms. They alert us when people or vehicles approach their property; consequently, we have never had an intruder.
