Description
This Scandinavian style cabin is very well equipped, beautifully furnished and is light, airy and full of log cabin charm. It’s situated on a large plot approximately 200 yards from the loch shore. As well as beautiful scenery the grounds and surrounding woodland provide an outstanding habitat for a wide variety of wildlife species. Red Squirrel and Pine Marten are relatively common and many bird species inhabit the area. A great location for wildlife watchers and nature lovers. The space The accommodation consists of open plan Living, dining and kitchen area, two double bedrooms, twin sleeping loft (access via ladder), family shower room and wood fired hot tub (extra charge). The lounge / dining area has a vaulted ceiling, Freesat Satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi (via TV and DVD), wi-fi, Bose Bluetooth speaker, sofa & easy chairs, dining table for six and a lovely wood burning stove. Patio doors open onto a raised veranda area overlooking garden and woodland and there is a large glazed area to the gable end, which floods the cabin with light. The kitchen is well equipped, with cooker, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, juicer and all necessary utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. Shower room is tastefully finished and has electric shower, wash basin, toilet, heater, heated towel rail and shaver point / light. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built in wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side table. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet. Loft room is accessed via a ladder and has twin beds, clothes hanger, chest of draws and bedside table. Outside there is parking for 2 cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture, a BBQ / fire pit area (BBQ not supplied) and ample grounds. The cabin provides privacy and is a short walk from the shores of Loch Awe. As well as beautiful scenery the grounds and surrounding woodland provide an outstanding habitat for a wide variety of wildlife species. There is a Scandinavian, wood fire hot tub available for guests' use at extra £102 / stay, which includes 3 bags of logs. Extra logs can be purchased from our House Keeper. Please note that the tub can take up to 5 hours to heat up in the first instance. THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS WE CAN ACCOMMODATE (INCLUDING INFANTS) IS SIX. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOUR PARTY (INC INFANTS) IS MORE THAN THIS, AS WE WILL BE UNABLE TO ACCEPT SAID BOOKING & WILL NEED TO CANCEL SUCH. Guest access Guests have full, exclusive access to the accommodation and owners possessions therein. Treat the cabin as it were your own, just replace anything you use on departure please. Other things to note The tourist attractions in the area are to numerous to list but there's something for everyone. Most of all it's about the great outdoors and getting back to nature.
