Local Nest steps to Elora Mill, shops and Gorge

The Local Nest is located by Victoria Park and is steps to Elora’s shops and restaurants and the Elora Mill. It can accommodate up to six guests and is ideal for families or groups of friends. The space With three bedrooms, two washrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, living area, laundry room, back yard and front porch, the Local Nest is ideal for families or groups of friends. It is also a great place to stay if you are attending a wedding at the Elora Mill which is around the corner. The back yard features a deck with a dining table for six, a patio with two lounge chairs, a barbeque, a hammock, and a professionally designed garden. The front porch is the perfect place for morning coffee or afternoon drinks and for watching the horse and buggies who have a dedicated parking spot across the street. The Local Nest is, in a sense, a “gallery” for local artists and craftspeople as every effort was made to ensure that everything that went into it was, to the extent possible, made by (or at least sourced through) someone local. This is where the name “Local Nest” came from. Even items previously owned (either by me or purchased from a local antique shop or the re-store) were given a new twist at the hand of a local painter or upholsterer. You will be welcomed with a snack and a couple of cold beers from the Elora Brewery. There are also some basic food items in the pantry - tea and coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper, herbs & spices… Free parking in the driveway for two cars (although three medium sized cars usually fit). No smoking, vaping or cannabis is permitted anywhere indoors. No pets. Guest access Guests have access to the full house and yard.
