Arrive and feel at home! Our vacation apartment Dachsbau with 45 square meters of living space offers room for up to two people. The space The kitchenette is equipped with an electric stove with ceramic hob and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, egg stove, kettle as well as sufficient crockery and cookware. The cozy and bright living room and dining area are combined. The hallway leads to a spacious separate bedroom with a double bed. The two bathrooms are equipped with a shower, WC, illuminated cosmetic mirror and hairdryer. The apartment Dachsbau downstairs is lovingly furnished with natural wood furniture. The complete linen equipment such as bed linen, towels, shower towels and tea towels is provided and can be changed on request. In our apartment we have 2 flat - screens with cable connection, a stereo system as well as telephone and free W-LAN. The large terrace is just for you. Of course you can use our beautiful garden with lawn and barbecue area. The Frankenwaldhof is located 630 meters above sea level in the district of Obersteben - in the immediate vicinity of the Bavarian State Spa Bad Steben. After just a ten-minute walk, you are already in the spa center around the spa gardens and thermal baths. Surrounded by lush green meadows and lots of nature, every season in the Franconian Forest Nature Park has its own special charms. Environmentally friendly energy concept Sustainability is a matter close to our hearts in all areas of our work - including our energy supply: The Frankenwaldhof guest house and the farmstead of the organic farm are heated with wood chips from our own forest and from neighboring spruce forests. This saves us around 15,000 liters of heating oil equivalent per year and uses a renewable energy source from the region, which goes hand in hand with the maintenance of our forests. Over the years, several photovoltaic systems have also been installed on our farm roofs. In total, we generate more than twice as much electricity as we actually consume on the entire farm. And if the sun doesn't shine over the Franconian Forest, you can rest assured - even the electricity we buy in is 100 percent green electricity from hydropower. We also light our guest house with LED lamps.
