Epic location! This unit is basically just a nice hotel room. Located at Whiskey Towers building, one of the few mountain side buildings at Kirkwood. Chairlifts, village, general store & restaurants are a stone’s throw away. The unit includes spectacular views of mtn & village, a comfy work desk with views, blazing fast fiber-optic WiFi, high-quality king bed, power recliner/rocker, 50” Roku TV, solid wood furniture & brand-new carpet. Functions exactly like a hotel room with keypad door access. The space The true ski in ski out unit is basically a nice hotel room with high quality barn-wood themed furniture, sturdy king bed, desk, motorized recliner and other quality pieces. It’s one large bedroom and bathroom with complete privacy and keypad door access, functions exactly like a hotel room. The unit includes a private bathroom with shower, large 50” Roku TV, high-quality king bed (Sealy Posturepedic hybrid mattress), small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blazing fast fiber-optic WiFi, power recliner/rocker, comfortable work desk with mountain views and location, location location! The unit has everything you’d find in a typical hotel room plus brand-new carpeting with plush memory foam lining (every step is heaven!) and high-quality amenities like Egyptian cotton sheets, quality pillows and towels, and solid wood furniture. There is even an area at the unit entrance to leave your equipment, boots and wet gear if you do not want to bring it into the room. Unit is located on the 3rd floor with elevator access. There is no kitchen or cooking in this unit, however there are many different dining options within walking distance: 7800 Bar & Grill downstairs, Kirkwood General Store (sandwiches, beer, etc.) in the Red Cliffs Lodge, The Wall Bar in the Village or the Cornice Grill across from the village. Everything you need is a short walk away, including being first in line on a powder day! The ski-in/out access from this unit is unmatched. There are only a few slope-side buildings at Kirkwood, this is one of them. Wake up as you watch the sun rise over Kirkwood while the staff opens up the mountain. Then put on your gear and walk out the door to the main mountain chairlifts (Chairs 6/5/10/11/1), it’s that simple! Nothing beats a few steps to-and-from your unit and the ski resort. Repeat, repeat, repeat! Ha! Parking for this unit is first come, first serve. A long row of parking spots is available next to the building. Early/Late Check In/Out Policy: When we can accommodate, an early or late check out can be made available for a $50 fee. The reason we charge this fee is because Kirkwood has the highest utility costs in the country. * please note that we do not give refunds due to inclement weather or road conditions… Kirkwood is a very remote place and if you’re not prepared to travel in the snow, do not book my unit! Guest access You can access the room, front unit entrance to keep equipment and patio area in front of building. Other things to note *IMPORTANT* Please fully read our Cancellation Policy prior to booking. By booking, you are agreeing to our Cancellation Policy set in place as well as Airbnb’s Extenuating Circumstances Policy. We highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance at the time of your booking (available thru Airbnb) if you have concerns about refunds due to travel disruptions (ie travel restrictions due to inclement weather, injury, illness, etc.). We stand by our Cancellation Policy. Kirkwood is a mountain town and gets a large amount of snow. Please be prepared to travel during inclement weather.
