B's Retreat is a 1940's 700 sq ft cottage on a quiet dead-end street. It is 1 block from downtown UP! B's is sandwiched between rentals and vacation homes, so perfect for a family of 4 or 1-2 couples/friends looking to unwind. B's best attributes are the vaulted ceilings, wide-plank pine floors, bonus kids loft, hot tub, fire pit & the 23-foot wide screened in porch! B's is a .4-mile / 10-minute walk down Townline Rd. to the public beach. Parking is available at beach for early birds! The space B's is set up for any season and any vacation purpose. Our cottage is available all year long! It's proximity to Townline beach and the town of Union Pier make it easy! Cleaning fees: I pay my cleaner fairly and all fees charged to guests go toward cleaning, linen washing and hot tub cleaning. Our hot tub is professionally cleaned weekly. Our place is a 700-square ft open concept with vaulted ceilings. We have a complete mini kitchen with gas oven, coffee maker, large fridge, microwave, pots/pans and cooking/baking essentials. We also have a micro dishwasher and storage on our pantry doors for all of your food storage needs. NOTE - during the colder months, we do not have a formal kitchen table & sitting area. We have a kitchen bar with 2 barstools plus a 2-seater bistro table in living room. For kids: B's has a basketball hoop located in our gravel driveway. (BYO Basketball). Inside our place, older/able kids can climb up our library stairs to a fun hangout space. We found a local artisan who built these stairs! (The treads glow in the dark at night!) The loft is equipped with old-school video games, some traditional games, a neon cubs sign, a few bean bags and a couch! Our bathroom is also vaulted and has open storage shelves and a few drawers for your bathroom essentials. Each bedroom is equipped with a dresser, plenty of hooks and some small closet spaces. B's has a privacy fence around our property to help feel more intimate. We have an in-ground fire pit with Adirondack chairs, a back patio with hot tub, seating & gas grill. Our favorite outdoor amenity is the large screened-in porch with a full-size picnic style table and lounge area. In the summer, our front yard trees create complete privacy. The hot tub has color changing lights and our outdoor is equipped with various lanterns that illuminate at night. Guest access As a guest, you have access to the entire property.
