Beautiful Sunsets at the Little Stone Cottage

Our cottage is approximately 25 mins outside of Bancroft on beautiful Fraser Lake. We are approximately 3 hrs from Toronto and 2 1/2 hrs from Ottawa. Our lakefront is a natural shoreline with a shallow and sandy area that is excellent for swimming and enjoying water activities! The town of Bancroft has lots of shops including grocery stores, an LCBO, and a beer store. 10 km down the road is Cunningham’s general store equipped as an LCBO retailer, gas station, and convenience store. We have made it a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy cottage life. (The cottage is a cozy space - approx 700 sq ft in total) Relax on our front porch (30ft x10ft) with a full view of the lake. BBQ on the deck while watching the kids swim. We are that close to the lake! If looking for a quiet place to have an afternoon nap, rest on the hammock while still enjoying the view of the lake. We have over 60 feet of dock with a sitting area at the end 8 ft x 16 ft. If you have a boat it can be launched at the public launch within walking distance to the cottage. Kitchen: Equipped with full size oven/stove and full size fridge. Large dining table with enough space to seat 6. Coffee pot with keurig combo, kettle, microwave and 4 slice toaster. Living room: 40 inch tv DVD player with lots of family friendly movies Satellite TV WIFI (you can log in to watch Netflix on your account) Board games, card games Bedrooms: Room 1 - Queen bed Room 2 - two twin beds Room 3 - two twin beds Bathroom: Flush toilet and shower (no bathtub). Electric baseboard heating for those chilly nights. We have a large fire pit area for evenings around the campfire roasting s’mores. We also have two adult size kayaks, three child size kayaks, a rowboat, and a paddle boat. We do have a variety of life jackets however we encourage guests to bring life jackets for smaller children. Guest access Enjoy full use of the property. The sheds will be locked to guests. Lock box code to be provided prior to arrival Other things to note There will be wood available to burn for outdoor campfires only. This wood is NOT meant to be used for the fireplace inside the cottage. All beds will come equipped with mattress and pillow covers only. Full bedding can be supplied for an additional charge of $20 per bed.
