Mermaid Cove is a Vacation rental compound, consisting of 4 cottages each one with a private entrance to the courtyard with outdoor patio. Sleeps up to 10 MAX ! Cottage 1: King Cottage 2: Queen bed Cottage 3: King bed Cottage 4: Queen bed & Another Queen bed NO PETS. The space Located at the artsy 1200 block of world famous Duval Street, Mermaid Cove is the ideal getaway for your Key West vacation. You are in the heart of historic Old Town Key West, where an eclectic mix of restaurants, art galleries, beaches, bars, museums and night life are within walking or biking distance. Out the front door is Banana Café, and the Southernmost Smoothie the perfect place to start your day with a delectable breakfast or a healthy smoothie. Mermaid Cove features four separate cottages each with a private entrance and all decorated and furnished in charming tropical fashion. The cottages surround a central courtyard with outdoor patio furniture and a large gas BBQ grill and a large stainless steel sink. Mermaid Cove allows you to gather as a group, but also have privacy. Mermaid Cottage 1 is an upstairs unit with a king bed, full kitchen, bath with shower and living room with a mini-split air conditioner. The living room has a flat-screen TV and French doors that open onto a deck with table and chairs. It sleeps 2 Funky Cottage 2 is downstairs with a queen bed, bath with shower, mini kitchen with under-the-counter fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, TV/and a mini-split air conditioner. Sleeps 2. Ocean Cottage 3 is in the middle of the compoundand has a king bed with French doors that open onto the central courtyard. The bath includes a shower. The kitchen has a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, no hair dryer in this unit. coffee maker, TV/and mini-split air conditioner. Sleeps 2. Nautical Cottage 4 is at the rear of the courtyard and features natural cedar white washed walls. At the entrance is a beautiful mosaic tiled 20-foot wall with a one-of-a-kind mural of a Key West beach scene with a Mermaid at a cove. This unit features a queen bed and another queen bed kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, TV/and mini-split air conditioner. The bath includes a shower. Sleeps 4. Courtyard has a large Weber Genesis grill and large outside stainless steel sink that can be used to clean your fish or any catch if you go on a fishing tour etc. The lights on the patio at night can be casual with the blue rope or blue lamps or you have the ability to turn on a powerful LED light to light up the whole patio. The courtyard also has a Mermaid bottle opener and a weathered bell to get everyone's attention for a special toast or occasion. Beware there is an iguana that visits Mermaid Cove occasionally his name is "DINO" he is a very large iguana that may drop for a visit and look at his reflection in the patio mirror. Guest access Access via gate with Mermaid above the door to open compound. Each cottage is accessed via door opening up into central compound. Cottage 1 overlooks the compound and also has its own large private patio above the compound. Other things to note Please note that parties or events are not acceptable at Mermaid Cove. Mermaid Cove is rented as entire compound. We will not rent cottages separately.
