For couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, & families The space This apartment is full of morning and afternoon sunlight. The hardwood floors provide a warm atmosphere, and the furniture is comfortable with many options for seating (sofa pictured has been replaced with an Ikea sleeper sofa) and socializing. The TV has an integrated Roku, which allows you to login to all of your own streaming services. *Note that the overly soft mattress that appears in some reviews has been replaced with a king sized bed and mattress* Guest access You will have the entire apartment (unit #5) to yourself. Please note that this is a second floor apartment that only has stairs for access. There is also a shared laundry room on the same floor of the building (when you leave the apartment take a left, then it is the door straight ahead). Please note the rear exit door to the left of the laundry room door where you can take trash/recycling out to the city dumpsters during your stay-blue dumpsters are recycling and brown ones are for trash. Other things to note The couch is a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping. There should be extra linens in the large bedroom closet (please message us if there are not). ***please note that the overly soft mattress that has appeared in our reviews has been replaced with a king sized bed and mattress*** The TV has an integrated Roku, which allows you to login to all of your own streaming services. For families with little ones, the large closet off the bedroom (next the the bathroom) has a container of toys, a pac n play with pad and sheets, and a high chair. The kitchen has a sippy and kid cups cup, baby and kid plates, bowls, and utensils, and a couple of bibs. Also some snacks and apple juice pouches in the fridge. The building is shared with some apartments with long term tenants, so please be respectful and quiet in common areas. The building has a central boiler for heating. The radiators have adjustable valves on them. The higher the number setting, the more they will heat up when the boiler does kick on for the building. We also provide at least one plug in oil-based heater in case you like it a little warmer. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions about the heating. Cooling consists of two window AC units that have proven sufficient for our guests for 4 summers.
