Terrapin Hostel 1, Single queen bed
Nestled in the mountains of western Maine, Terrapin Hostel is a true gem. It was built in 1920 and is a wonderful example of New England craftsmanship. All of the original trim, windows, and doors take you back in time to an era where attention to detail was accustomed. Amenities include high speed internet, free parking, continental breakfast, fully equipped kitchen/dining space (shared), common living space, towels, soap, shampoo, dartboard, Pool table, instruments. This room is located on the second floor. Enjoy a private room with futon, dresser, closet, queen bed. I live in attached apartment if anything comes up. The surrounding area offers endless opportunities for recreation. Mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, Nordic/alpine skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, fishing, hunting, ATVing, snowmobiling, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and golf are all close by. Kingfield is home to the Ski Museum of Maine and the Stanley Museum as well as many wonderful restaurants and bars. Grocery, laundromat, hardware store, and post office are in walking distance. This is Terrapin Hostel so it is likely that you will interact with other guests.
