The space Please note: The Watersound BeachHOA is completing balcony restoration across the Watersound condo buildings. The work is scheduled to end mid-July of 2026. At times, there may be weekday construction noise, temporary balcony closure, and workers nearby. As of June 17, the workers have put in our new balcony tile, so all that is left for our unit is cleanup/details and scaffold removal. Other things to note A note on taxes: A total tax of 11% tax is due on all rentals of less than 6 months. The components are a 6% Florida state sales tax, plus a 1% Walton County sale tax, plus a 4% Walton county lodging tax. Airbnb collects 7% tax, including the 6% FL sales tax and the 1% Walton county sales tax, but Airbnb does not collect the 4% Walton county lodging tax. So we will need to collect the 4% lodging tax for vacation stay by either separate check or funds, or by a separate Airbnb invoice.
