The owners are pastry chefs, and have equipped this space with a gorgeous custom marble top island, large copper farm sink, double ovens, full size refrigerator, and everything you could need for a baking holiday; just bring the ingredients! The space Luxury finishes, antique furniture, modern conveniences, private entry, in a quiet neighborhood. The Starland neighborhood was listed as the #1 place to live in America by "Southern Living" Magazine in 2019 !!! An eclectic neighborhood that boasts some great shops, restaurants, 2 local craft breweries, independent shops, and friendly folks. It is known as the artsy neighborhood, close to downtown, but with enough breathing room from the busy tourist district. This space is perfect for a romantic getaway, a staycation for baking enthusiasts, or a charming place to get some work done or rest before heading back on the road. Guest access Guests have - a private entrance with convenient coded entry. -a full-sized kitchen equipped with utensils and bakeware. -Laundry is on site. -Guests may feel free to enjoy the courtyard garden for al fresco dining, or a glass of wine; the courtyard is lit up in the evenings (shared only with us and our 3 small dogs). -On street parking is available. Other things to note -This space is intended for 2 guests, and not suitable for families traveling with children or infants. Pets, although we love them, are not permitted in this newly renovated space. -We have exterior security cameras on the premisis for both yours and our safety. These are located at the front porch, the side gate, and the courtyard and entrance to the carriage house. -This is a 100% no smoking property, both inside and out. -Any damages will be charged to the guest. This includes permanent stains on linens and towels that cannot be removed; therefore we ask that you pack make-up remover, and if you have recently dyed hair, please bring your own towel/pillow if there is a chance the pigment will stain. (this has been a recurring problem, and we have had to replace many ruined items.)
