The house was built in 2009 with plenty of custom features I think will make your stay more comfortable. Includes exposed beams of Western Douglas Fir and ceilings. You’re sure to enjoy the modern appeal of the polished concrete floors, granite counters, black cabinetry, granite fireplace, and stainless steel appliances. You may choose to relax and enjoy your access to Echo Lake via a private boardwalk (access about 1/3 mile back up road). When you’re ready to venture out, the central location places you within 5 to 15 minutes of everything this beautiful Island has to offer. House less than 1 mile from several trail heads in Acadia National Park. FIRST FLOOR: An open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and beautiful wooded views offers the perfect spot to relax or entertain. A modern kitchen with granite counters, propane stove and bar area with seating for 3 easily flows to the Dining Area with a table for 8 and to the Living Area with a hand-made stone fireplace and hearth. A spacious first-floor Master Bedroom with king bed enjoys a 49” flat-screen TV and a private Bathroom with spacious walk-in rain shower and double vanity with LED touch screen mirror. Another Bedroom on the first floor offers a king bed and across the hall a guest Bathroom with shower. SECOND FLOOR: Ascending the stairs leads one to a lofted den area with a large sofa and day bed, and flat-screen TV. Two additional bedrooms, one with a set of twins and the other with a queen and twin bed. These upstairs bedrooms share a Bathroom with combined tub and shower. PATIO: Spacious and sunny patio with large outdoor fireplace with picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and outdoor sofa, gas grill and separate burner for boiling lobster. PETS: Pets are not allowed. This is a whole home/property rental. **Check in: 4:00pm, Check out: 10:00am Guest access Plenty of parking for guests at the house (at least 4 cars). Other things to note Access to lake from the boardwalk possible by Canoe, Kayak, or Paddle Board but these items are not provided (weekly rentals available on MDI). Access also depends on water levels in the lake.
