Enjoy a weekend getaway at a beautiful two BR condo at the WorldMark Resort in Angels Camp, in the heart of California’s historic Gold Country. It's adjacent to the Greenhorn Golf Club and close to shopping and restaurants in downtown Angels Camp and the nearby lovely town of Murphys . The area is home to dozens of wineries. You will find a private bathroom off the spacious upstairs master bedroom, along with another bathroom on the unit’s first floor, available for guests staying in the second bedroom or the living area, which features a deluxe Murphy bed. The full kitchen is complete with stove and oven, full fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, cookware, dishes, glasses, cups, and even some spices. The dining area will accommodate up to six people at the table. There is a TV in each bedroom and the living area, and a private deck with a gas barbecue grill is accessible off the living area. The resort also offers movies on DVD available for rent at the front desk. The resort also offers a recreation center and fitness center as well as tennis courts, jacuzzis and two pools on site, which you may use while staying at the resort. You will have exclusive use of the entire two bedroom condo while staying at the resort. Additionally, the resort has two pools, four jacuzzis, tennis courts, a fitness center and recreation room, as well as a business center, which are available for general guest use. Although I am happy to answer any questions you might have by email, text or phone, I will not be on site. However, the very helpful front desk and concierge staff in the guest check-in center will be very happy to assist you in any way they can. Angels Camp boasts a really cute downtown, and a wonderful regional history museum, featuring one of the finest collections of late 19th and early 20th century carriages in the US. It is also famous for its annual Jumping Frog Jubilee, held each May. The Gold Country in general is a history buff’s paradise, with lots of cute gold-rush era towns scattered up and down Highway 49, each with its own collection of cool antique and collectible stores. Nearby, the historic and delightful town of Murphys boasts, among other things, some two dozen or so wine tasting rooms. Mercer Caverns in Murphys is one of four caves and caverns in the area worth checking out. Columbia State Historic Park, about 18 miles away, is a gem of 1870s mining history, with its many restored buildings and shops. A little further afield is Calaveras Big Trees State Park, home to a very accessible grove of old growth Giant Sequoia trees. For those who enjoy golf, the Greenhorn Golf Course is right next door to the resort! Many fine dining spots abound in the area. The concierge will be happy to recommend the local favorites! The Resort will collect a REFUNDABLE $250 security deposit on your credit card upon check-in. The deposit will be promptly returned, assuming that there are no major issues upon check-out.
