Lake St. Catherine is 3 miles away, and Lake Bomoseen is under 10 miles. The space Built in 1910 as a charming “Mother-in-Law” cottage, this cozy 2-bedroom home offers comfort and character throughout. Relax in the private hot tub or enjoy the rear patio after a day of exploring. The bathroom features a custom shower made from local Vermont slate. Guests will enjoy all the comforts of home, including provided linens, a fully equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals, strong WiFi, and cable TV with Roku. Other things to note The Poultney River, located less than a mile from the cottage, offers several excellent swimming spots. Feel free to ask about access if interested. A sidewalk begins right outside the cottage and leads directly into the town of Poultney, just over a mile away. There you’ll find restaurants, a local pub, a grocery store, and charming small town Vermont shops. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy several nearby courses: 1. Lake St. Catherine Country Club – 5 minutes away (Poultney, VT) 2. Milestone Golf Course – 4 miles away (Hampton, NY) 3.
