Located in Milwaukee's vibrant Bay View neighborhood, this spacious home is a few short blocks from Lake Michigan, parks, trails, coffee shops, restaurants and public transportation. Whether you hang out at home, on the patio, in the garden or walk along the lake, you will feel comfortable, relaxed and rejuvenated. The space The living and dining rooms are spacious and include a work desk, comfortable well lit reading area, contemporary sofa with chaise, original built in faux fireplace and buffet and dining room table for 4-6 guests. The fully functional kitchen has a soapstone counter that includes a breakfast bar for two, an adjoining butler pantry fully stocked with kitchen basics. And, since we are total coffee geeks, you'll find a Nespresso machine and pour-over equipment. You can count on a fresh supply of locally roasted coffee, both light and dark roast. You'll also find an assortment of Milwaukee's renowned teas for an early morning ritual. The bathroom has its original mosaic tile floor and new walk-in shower with a bench. All bedrooms have hardwood floors with area carpets, closets with hangers, dressers with mirrors, windows with darkening shades and a chair. Overall features include personalized keypad entry, openable windows with screens, central air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, stereo, turntable and vinyl records. Guest access You will have access via private entry to the entire 3 bedroom flat. Other things to note No pets allowed We require the full names of all guests who are included in your reservation. Only the guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premises. A $30 charge will be added per person, per night, for every extra guest. We ask that shoes not be worn inside the home. No one is allowed to smoke or vape inside the home. No parties or events are allowed on the premises. Check-in is at 3 PM and Check-out is at 10 AM. You are responsible for locking the doors when you go out. We’re pretty sure you understand opened windows will let in desirable breezy lake side air but they will also let in the sound of rustling leaves, voices from neighbors running or walking, occasional traffic, airplanes, and weekly trash pick-up. These outdoor sounds will remind you, you are in an urban environment, There is free street parking for three nights during the week, four nights if you include a Saturday. Longer stays will require a street permit (for a fee). We are happy to arrange this for you upon booking and by request.
