Quiet rustic property in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, surrounded by nature and an excellent starting point for many hikes and walks The space The “Maso”, a wooden building on stone base plate, is typical of the local rural architecture. In the past Maso Coler used to include a barnyard and a stable for Grandparent’s cows, but now it’s a really special place where to spend a relaxing holiday in the nature. The Maso has been restored in spring 2012 according to climate house features and it offers the possibility to sleep there and have breakfast. Surrounded by a lot of green and reachable via a private road, the structure dominates the rural landscape from its elevated position. Nature is here the undisputed winner; meadows, “masi” and soft slopes covered by trees, form an alpine paint of perfect harmony. Maso Coler is a 3-floor building: on the ground floor we find a multipurpose room (breakfast room, relax room) and a kitchen; on the first and second floor there are three wide bedrooms. The familiar management ensures you the greatest warmth and helpfulness. Some additional information before booking that we consider essential for the winter stay! 1) In winter, when there is snow, you can leave your car in the village (about 2 km away) and you are accompanied to the structure by snowmobile or alternatively you can take a quiet walk. It is certainly very suggestive and immerses people in the tranquility of the place, but someone prefers to have immediate access to services, ski slopes or other! Families often spend their days on the surrounding meadows with the sleds we provide, and for this they don't need much travel! 2) the nearby restaurants often fail to open in winter. We therefore strongly recommend that you consider using the property's kitchen to cook your own meals, while remaining available for trips by snowmobile if you wish to go down to the village to go to the other restaurants. 3) every morning we will leave on the table in the breakfast room a basket with the necessary for a healthy breakfast with the products of the farm: freshly baked bread to be enjoyed with homemade butter and jams, yogurt, fresh seasonal fruit, local cold cuts and cheeses, but also tea, coffee and apple juice. This will allow you to have breakfast in total freedom and without time constraints! Guest access Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and the outdoor garden.
