Come enjoy the spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains! We're located in Black Bear Falls Resort (5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg), a short distance away from theme parks, water parks, outlet shopping, fine dining, dinner theater, rafting, hiking and so much more. While we list the property at 10 - there is an additional queen sized futon in the Loft Level bedroom, great for families with small children. Guests have access to the Clubhouse at the entrance of the community, which hosts a pool & lounge chairs. Kitchen is stocked with nearly any kitchen gadget or appliance you would need to make meals during your stay. Coffee and select teas are available for use in the Keurig. All bathrooms come stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Linens are fresh in each bedroom and additional bedding for the pull-out couches are in the bedroom closets on each level. There are a number of board games, books and movies available for enjoyment as well, should the weather keep you inside - or enjoy the hot tub, it's covered! 5 TV's which include all the major channels + HBO & Showtime. We live about a hour away from this property, but visit it quite frequently with our children. Usually interaction is limited to phone calls or texts, day or night, should there be any questions throughout your stay. We chose our cabin for the view and the proximity to local attractions. We have very easy access to all of the major activities and still have the seclusion of a private get away surrounded by trees and awesome views. The neighborhood is (and should be) quite in the late evening hours. Overly noisy prospective guests should consider another resort. The property has a number of security cameras monitoring entry\exit as well as the exteriors of most cabins. There should be plenty of available parking at the cabin for 3 vehicles. Should you venture out to downtown Gatlinburg, we've always been able to find free parking in exchange for a short walk to the strip. Reasonable rates at a parking garage can also be found on the main road. The community pool is open June thru Oct. There is an outdoor grill at the cabin. The City of Gatlingburg requires an occupancy permit which is displayed on the front door. Local Hotel\Motel taxes as well as a State Business License is required.
