We love to share our backyard outdoor spaces too, when the weather is agreeable! During your stay We absolutely love to host. Meeting and connecting with our guests and helping make their travel experience wonderfully memorable is our favorite part. We check in with our guests as we care about their comfort, and do maintain a level awareness of when they come and go as we care about their safety and well-being while we host them in our private family home. This is our family's home that we are opening to strangers, and we expect a high level of transparency and graciousness from each of our guests. We reserve the right to enter this space in our home for our guests' comfort, as well as per our house rules (such as turning on or off lights or removing trash in our guests' absence), as well for any safety concerns. We do expect that our guests use and regularly monitor and respond to Air BnB site / app messages, during the reservation and arrival phase and especially while guests in our home, as we do use this as a frequent means of communication with our guests, including occasional coffee or dinner invitations. We also do expect that our guests express their needs and feedback to us directly during their stay, giving us the opportunity to give them the 5 star experience for which we strive with every guest, as opposed to after departure in a review including scoring or summary or private feedback. Other things to note We've found our listing works great for savvy single or couple travelers who need a simply comfortable but safe place to sleep. Small families traveling on a budget who do not need resort or 5-star hotel accommodations, as well as those visiting family here in Edmonds who do not have sufficient guest space are equally well-served. All our guests MUST be comfortable enough sleeping on a deluxe air mattress, however, and understand that this is in fact a shared home in which our family lives and works. We do have a very friendly low-shedding playful puppy dog, Beau the Mini Bernedoodle (4/30/2022). IG: our_little_beau Walk Score 42: 6 min drive , 11 min bike, 37 min walk to Downtown Edmonds.
