The space Gathering Hill Farm was built in 1816 and has all the charm of an old house with all the comforts you expect from a luxury rental. The three bathrooms are very large and come stocked with soaps, shampoo and conditioner, lotion and hair dryers, a few less things to pack! The surrounding 8 acres has views across to Seneca Lake, huge yard space, a barn with a deck and fun entertaining space, outdoor tables, grill, patios and firepit. There are mini split air conditioners and heating units in each of the upstairs bedrooms. The Seneca Lake Scenic Drive and Wine Trail is literally right outside the door of this perfectly located vacation property. Walk to the neighborhood wineries and restaurants, hop on the Wine Trolley or designate a driver and enjoy all the award winning nearby breweries, cider houses, wineries and distilleries . Watkins Glen, the Racetrack, waterfalls and amazing State Parks and minutes away. Cornell and Ithaca College are an easy 30 min drive, along with all the arts and dining in Ithaca. The Corning Glass Museum is not to be missed, rent a pontoon boat at the nearby marina or go skiing (downhill or cross country) at one of many nearby snow parks. Guest access There is a side entrance and a ground floor bedroom and full bathroom for any guest who prefers no stairs, with the rest of the bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor. Other things to note This is a non-smoking property and during the summer the main barn space is a working studio for a pair of professional artists. Any events planned for your stay will take first priority and they are completely self contained out there!
