Home in Mendocino

What's your dream? For us it was a simple house with a fabulous view in the most desirable location on the North Coast and that's exactly what this house is. Situated right above Mendocino itself, in a private and secluded neighborhood, the house has amazing view of the ocean and very serene feel. We use it ourselves to get away from the routines of our everyday life in Berkeley and try to keep it warm and homie with personal touches - that’s what the AirB&B used to be to begin with. The space Once you open the doors to the patio, you are living with the environment, the outside. You never feel completely inside or outside. Instead you have a pleasant combination of both, protected and free at the same time. The view wraps around you, and everything you see bathed in natural light. You're aware of the position of the sun (warms you up when you have breakfast at the kitchen table and fills up living room in the afternoons) and know when constellations will rise at night (you can watch the most amazing night sky from the ceiling windows in your bedroom). There are numerous windows in the house and each view is like a masterpiece. Guest access You will be able to access all parts of the house except the garage Other things to note - Our house is not suitable for children - When we got this house 12 years ago, we realized right a way that owning your own property is an ongoing project. It excites us and gives us motivation, but it might not seem the same to you. Since Andrei is doing most of remodeling himself as a hobby, certain things take time. Like outside paint needs to be done - project for September, 2016. Tile in the bathrooms and shower stalls need to be updated - project for 2017. Out door tree planting and landscaping - is on going. We do guarantee though that none of the work will be done right before or during your stay, so it will never feel as if you are in the middle of it.
