Deluxe Room w/ Ensuite Bathroom in Madarao Kogen

We're a Dutch couple whose lodge is nestled in the mountains of Madarao in Japan. Our lodge provides capacity for a max of 20 guests divided over 5 units. Our cozy, comfortable space makes for a great base to explore the mountains around the region. During winter, we offer private ski/snowboarding lessons, and side and backcountry guiding. We cater to guests during all other seasons too and offer fine dining experiences during your stay. We aim to create the perfect vacation experience for you! The space This room is perfect for families, groups of friends or couples who just want to have that extra bit more space. You will have two rooms and a bathroom for yourself. One room will have a double (or twin) bed. The other room is a bigger room that can be used as living room during the day and contains a comfi sofabed that can be converted into a double bed during the night. Guest access Apart from two private rooms, and bathroom, you can use all the common areas in the lodge. There is a drying room to hang wet cloths and ski gear to dry. Enjoy the massage chair free of charge, or hang out at the fire place in the dining area with a comfy lounge, a large table, and a play room with toys, books, games, and a screen that you can connect to your own phone via Google Chromecast. We sell local drinks at our in-house bar. Additionally there is a fridge, a microwave and a toaster available for common use as well as plates, bowls, cups, glasses, cutlery, etc. If you want to use the kitchen please let us know and we can work around our dinner schedule. Other things to note A western style breakfast with home-made sourdough, one alternating warm dish and local coffee is included in the room price. Besides this, we provide a 6-course fine dining experience (JPS restaurant) with additional wine-pairing, and a bakery service (JPS bakery) where we make 100% sourdough loaves and baked goods all year round. During winter, we provide private lessons, and back and side country tours. Madarao/Tangram Ski Resort is accessible from the Japan Snowsports Lodge via a 10-minute walk or a free shuttle.
