The home is booked as a whole; no other guests it is all yours. The owners Marc and Mary-Anne are in the carriage house above the garage The house is referred to as a mansion by the movie industry and considerable filming has taken place on the property In June 2018 Gippy Grewal filmed Manje Bistre II and stayed in the house with his family. Other filming including the Disney movie "A Wrinkle in Time" (the first movie from the 1980s ) and the movie Tooth Fairey, produced by Stephan J Cannel as well as filming for series, supernatural and master of horrors The rooms in the house are extra large with 10 foot ceilings and oversized windows Every room has a stunning view, sunrise, sunsets and the moon rising, a true 360 degree view Very private due to the size of the fenced property and distance from neighbors There is an 18 hole golf course to your immediate east and they have a restaurant and bar To the north is the Nicomekl river waterfront and walking trails to the east and west that take you to the Stewart Farmhouse museum and on to a river walk through forest and owl sanctuary Wildlife is abundant with owls, eagles, great blue herons and wild jack rabbits to name a few. The home has 5 bedrooms all with marble spa inspired bathrooms The master bedroom is all of the top floor over 1000 square feet and has a huge bathroom with 3 showers, double sinks, private toilet room soaker tub and a view! The bedroom with tv and king bed boasts views to the north and from the deck views are west down the river to the ocean. On the main floor is kitchen and family room, a dining room, large entrance hall with side parlour, powder room and a sitting room/bedroom with a master ensuite The second floor has 3 bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and one bedroom has its own deck. The house is fully furnished and comfortable with lots of fireplaces and air conditioning The entertainment room on the 2nd floor has a bar, fire place, sitting areas, pool table and 3 sets of french doors that open onto a large deck with sunsets over the river and ocean to the west and the river and mountains to the north and east. As well on the deck is an outdoor kitchen, large BBQ, teak dining table and a fire table The huge outdoor pool and hot tub was host to the Canuck hockey players when Ryan Walters owned the property A very large deck with loungers, deck chairs and fire bowl with gardens and trellising make this a true oasis There are games for outside; badminton bocci croquet and pool toys and inside pool table and board games I hope you come and stay with us you will fall in love with the house and property Guest access Guest are welcome to all of the 1.64 acre property The whole house is yours Carriage house above garage is a one bedroom occupied by the two owners There is a long driveway to the house. A forest of 100 year old cedar trees at the top of the property. Large grass yards surround the front side and back of the property and are perfect for crochet and bocci ball Oversized pool is open May to September and the attached hot tub is open year round. Enjoy the afternoon relaxing on a lounger on the large pool deck. Two barbeques are available off the kitchen and on the party room deck on the second floor. Other things to note Huge chef style kitchen with lots of dishes pots and pans spices and condiments make cooking a dream. Most people end out cooking at the house versus going out for meals as the amenities and vista are better than a restaurant
