Kinneil Self Catering apartments are located in a property built by Clyde shipping magnate Captain W. Buchanan in 1885. To reflect his love of the sea, all apartments have panoramic views across Lamlash Bay to Holy Isle and the Mainland beyond. Free on-site parking is also provided. The Kinneil apartments are named after the paddle steamers owned by Captain Buchanan, and each offers use of garden overlooking the bay, and a lounge area with TV/DVD player. A full-size oven, microwave and fridge are featured in the fully equipped kitchens. The property’s owners can arrange bike hire, maps for local walks and arrange transport from the ferry terminal. Native wildlife such as eagles, red deer and basking sharks can be spotted in the local area, as well as the occasional red squirrel. Apartment Brodick Castle is the top floor apartment in the main house, which can accommodate 2 guests. There is a double bedroom, a living room, a large kitchen/diner, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric hob, oven and microwave, a bathroom with a three-piece suite, and an electric shower over the bath. Kindly note the accommodations is located on the second floor, and is accessible via stairs only, therefore it may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment. Pets cannot be accommodated in this apartment.
