With a history of about 130 years, Kohan-no-Yado Morimoto offers spacious Japanese-style accommodations with views of Lake Shibayamagata. Guests can enjoy relaxing in the indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths. JR Kaga Onsen Train Station is a 15-minute ride on the free shuttle, which must be reserved at time of booking. Each room has tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included. Yukata robes are provided and each has its own private bathroom. Local gifts can be purchased at the souvenir shop and bicycle rentals are available for exploring the area.
