The space Our family had spent many vacations on Fire Island and absolutely adore everything the island has to offer. After many stays on the island, we have selected a home to make our own and share with others. We have collected ideas along the way to help create the best stay possible for our renters - adding the “touches” we loved from our previous rentals and a few that we thought would continue to add to your FI experience. 1) Music We firmly believe no experience is complete without a soundtrack. Sonos speakers are setup throughout the house and outdoor deck for your enjoyment… all controllable via your phone! 2) TV / DVDs / Wii / WiFi The main living room HDTV has a Roku (BYO-Streaming Service). Additionally, a full library of our favorite DVD’s and Bluerays are available in the "library". Of course, Wi-Fi available throughout the home (FAST VERIZON FIOS including out on deck). 3) Game and Books Adult and kids board games and books located in the “fishy” bedroom in the bookshelf. 4) Bikes Bikes are available for your riding pleasure. 5) Kids Toys Given we have children and use the space ourselves, we left a number of children's toys available for your use including beach buckets/shovels, boogie board, and board games. 6) Beach Gear Of course, no beach experience would be complete without having to lug your gear - beach chairs and beach umbrellas are available for your use on the beach. 7) Baby Gear We spent many summer vacations lugging a huge pack and play to Fire Island. Our little ones are older now so our pack and play is parked in the home for your hassle-free sleeping enjoyment. 8) Air Conditioning Air Conditioning throughout the home and individual units in each bedroom. 9) Guitar An old acoustic guitar is wall-hung and available for your beach sing-a-longs. 10) Bunk Beds! One of the bedrooms has 2 sets of bunk beds making it a fun kids "fort" or cozy adult space. 11) Grill Weber grill available on deck (but out of the way) with propane for all your BBQ needs. Guest access Everything except the attic (just storage and old air conditioners up there).
