Cosy cottage off the beaten track on the Greshornish peninsula in NW Skye-ideal for couples, families, or friends looking to slow down and enjoy the island at their own pace. Beautiful sea views toward the Trotternish Ridge, peaceful surroundings, and outdoor adventures right from the doorstep: wander to the sea shore, discover a hidden waterfall, or row on the nearby hill loch. A peaceful base to slow down and reconnect with nature-just 5 mins to Edinbane, 15 to Dunvegan, 30 to Portree. The space Accommodation is all-one-level with three bedrooms—double, twin, and single—you’ll enjoy a restful night’s sleep on high-quality mattresses and bedding. At the end of the hall, you’ll find the family bathroom, featuring a cascade shower over the bath. We’ve provided Egyptian Cotton towels and toiletries for your convenience, along with a heated towel rail for extra warmth. There is a kitchen/diner, where you’ll find everything you need for cooking and dining: a large rustic dining table, full-size fridge/freezer, electric hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and all the pots and pans you’ll need to create delicious meals. Relax in the cosy lounge, where you can enjoy a crackling fire in the wood burner on cooler evenings. We provide plenty of logs and kindling to get your first fire started. There’s a washing machine, condenser tumble dryer, clothes airer, and washing line available at the cottage. Outside, the large, enclosed lawned garden provides a peaceful retreat, with wooden benches to soak in the serene surroundings. Guest access Lower Glen Cottage is set within 2,500 acres of private land, where we focus on sustainable agriculture and working in harmony with nature. Guests are welcome to explore the surrounding hills, glens, and coastline, just remembering to close gates behind you.
