Couples and their pets love the cottage! Privately situated on 2 acres, conveniently located 10 - 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, 5 minutes to Weaverville. Cozy, charming, unique, the cottage provides a fully equipped kitchen, mosaic tile bath with walk-in shower, and clever use of recycled materials. Fenced pet approved yard ($50 one time fee covers 2 pet max), with outdoor dining, BBQ grill and fire pit. A relaxing oasis after hiking and exploring the beauty and charm of Western NC. The space The 700 sq ft Wisteria Cottage is cozy, charming, quiet, safe and conveniently located. Comfortably sleeps 2 adults in a queen bed. Location is 10-15 minutes North of downtown Asheville, and 5 minutes from the town center of Weaverville. Fully-equipped kitchen to prepare your favorite meal, stenciled concrete floor and custom mosaic tile counter tops. Eat out on the private patio, fully fenced for your pet(s) ($50 pet fee covers max 2 pets), or choose from one of the many local restaurants only minutes from home. Custom mosaic tile bathroom and walk-in shower. Use of recycled materials include reclaimed wood exterior with strategic placement of barn wood, reclaimed wood floor in bedroom/living room, painted cement floors in kitchen and reclaimed kitchen cabinets with custom mosaic tile counter tops. It is not a slick modern Ikea look alike space! Remote working is easy with a desk and comfortable office chair set up in a nook looking over one of the many gardens. The cottage vaulted ceilings make the space feel open and inviting while the deep red walls bringing in a romantic, cozy warmth. If you enjoy eclectic old world design, the Cottage will fit you perfectly. Guest access The cottage is quiet, private and safe, with a privacy fence in front and back, a fully fenced backyard with table and four chairs, and two chairs around an outdoor fire pit for relaxing and watching the gardens bloom throughout the spring, summer and fall. There is also a hammock for relaxing and watching the clouds roll by. The parking area is shared by the owners home behind the privacy fence. Guests can have up to two cars. No parties or gatherings allowed at the cottage. Absolutely no fireworks of any kind. If you plan to host family or friends for meals or extended time during your stay, please find a more suitable accommodation. Guests have full access to the gardens around the cottage. Other things to note Everyone is welcome at the Cottage. Up to 2 pets are welcome too! We require a few pet specific rules be followed. Please only bring your pets if they are used to traveling and being left alone in strange places. Crating your dog is not required but is encouraged while you are out. The cottage has a medium sized crate available. There are three steps up from the kitchen to the bedroom/living room area. If mobility is an issue, the cottage may not be right for you. The Wisteria Cottage is strictly non smoking. Smoking is allowed in the fenced backyard only and dispose of butts in outdoor trash can provided. No illegal substances allowed. Do not discard in the yard, gardens, potted plants or flush into the septic tank. Please park only in the designated parking area. We have a level 2 EV charger that we can make available.
