The combined, pet-friendly duplex is ideal for large groups - be that family, friends, or colleagues - looking for fun and relaxation! This house is within blocks to Ocean Beach Park and the fabulous California Coast! Downtown San Diego and family attractions like Sea World and the San Diego Zoo are all within 10 miles! The space Ocean Beach Pier is a combined unit of two upscale condos that are in the same building. The property has separate entrances, one downstairs and one upstairs. Ocean Beach Pier 1, the downstairs condo, features one full bath and two bedrooms to comfortably sleep nine guests (six adults). The upstairs Ocean Beach Pier 2 is a studio, offering 2 queen beds and one full bath that sleeps five guests (four adults). Please note there is another condo in the same building, Ocean Beach Pier #3, that can sleep an additional four guests but is not included with this listing - please book it separately if you're traveling with a large group. In total, these two combined beachfront condos sleep up to 14 visitors (12 adults) and three small dogs (25 pounds or less). Guests will rest easy after long days in the sun on two king beds, two queen beds, and futons for additional sleeping space. Convenience amenities like WiFi, partial AC (full in the upstairs unit), and designated parking spots will make guests feel right at home. Groups will naturally congregate on the main level, which offers plenty of space to stretch your legs! Plot out the day's adventures in the living room that's stocked with cozy leather furniture, a desk, and media center. Serve shrimp cocktails and margaritas on the dining table for four or prep lunches for active families! The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and plenty of cabinet space, ideal for large groups and extended stays. Beyond the living room is an enclosed patio with a bistro table. Whip out a deck of cards for a weekend tournament, or serve younger guests in the easy-to-clean space (thanks to tile floors)! The upstairs portion of the home is a studio offering a well-designed living space and two beds. Unwind on the sofa overlooking the balcony and sea or catch up on your favorite shows on cable TV. Host happy hour in the dining area boasting cozy upholstered seating. The inviting space is designed for slow-cooked meals and even better conversation! The kitchen is small but mighty featuring miniature, stainless-steel appliances including a refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher for easy meal prep. Let the smell of the surf guide you outdoors to the private patio! Ocean Beach Pier features a patio on each level with bistro tables, a gas grill, and phenomenal views of the beach! THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: No Smoking is allowed inside any of our properties. You are welcome to smoke in outside areas of the home. For homes that allow pets there are certain rules that always apply. Pets are never to be left alone in the homes unattended. If you plan to spend time away from your pet please find a doggy daycare. You can call our office for recommendations. Pet Fee: $40/Night This unit is located across from the beach and in the Village area of Ocean Beach so you will have normal street noise and village noise. If this does not suit you, please do not rent this location. This home is located adjacent to another unit so we ask our guests to respect those other guests and keep the noise level down to a minimum. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Ocean Beach lies in the San Diego International Airport flight path for some departing flights. No planes can depart after 11:30 pm or before 6:30 am. Laundry facilities will be located at the OB Hotel across the street. You have access to their coin laundry facilities. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with La Jolla Vacation Rentals. Guest access All guests will receive an email with check-in instructions prior to their arrival. These will include access instructions and a keypad code to gain access to the keys to enter the home.
