Amazing restaurants, bars, shopping, groceries, parks & yoga all within blocks. Walk or bike everywhere! Bike lock-up behind the Nest. Kitchenette, cooktop, toaster oven, blender Fr.Press etc. We do many long term stays of 6 mos. to 1 year- please feel free to reach out✨ The space This tiny home is a perfect space for one or 2 adults and a small to med size animal. We don’t recommend the space for children, since there is no enclosed yard, and it’s really designed for adults. Perfect for travel nurses or others working away from home, as a get away retreat, or as a launching pad to see about relocation to the PNW. You can harvest your own herbs, apple-pears, figs, and kiwis from the garden when in season. Theres an outdoor hang out area with lots of comfy chairs and a cafe table/chairs for eating, drinking, and enjoying the lovely evenings outdoors under the silhouetted canopy of trees with friends. BEDS: The Nest is outfitted with two organic cotton full size convertible futon beds, eachwith a memory foampillowtopper, and 2 large fluffy pillows each. The beds can fold up to double as sofas during the day. Each one sleeps 2 so you can keep one permanently in sofa position (as I have it set up) for 2 adults. I have tested them out myself (as I have a very bad back) and can attest to the fact that they are very comfortable, and lots of comfortable throws and blankets for chilly nights. KITCHEN & COOKING AMENITIES: There is a back counter and prep eat island rebuilt from vintage 1930's cabinetry, with their original glass knobs and new heavy butcher block finished tops, fridge/freezer, A state of the art magnetic induction cooktop, toaster oven, microwave, slow cooker, wok, blender, toaster, and tons of cooking and prep utensils, pots, pans, french press, and tea pot. There are also beautiful vintage dishes, goblets and glassware all designed to make your dining experience as lovely as possible. BATHROOM: This small but beautifully finished bathroom has bamboo flooring, restored vintage light fixtures, and a 4 1/2 foot vintage claw foot tub with shower and curtain ring, perfect for relaxing hot or cool baths or more expedient showers. There are lots of fluffy cotton towels, and amenities like lavender bath salts, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, ear buds and cotton balls. SUPER FAST WI-FI: yes! Accessible to guests who work from home or who don't want to drop out completely ;) Guest access The entire space surrounding the nest- garden, barbecue, fire-pit, vegetable/herb beds, and fruit trees is available to guests. Other things to note PRO-TIP! I have the listing set at 30 days but book for 31 because this saves a considerable amount in local taxes and fees. You don’t need to be there all 31 days. It’s just to save you $$$s :) Also- The house and yard are non smoking. That includes vaping. This is so that it does not go in through open windows of the main house, and be impacting people who might not want to share it in their space :) Feel free to smoke and vape all you want outside the yard, and walking the neighborhood :) SOAKING POOLS/HOT TUBS/SAUNAS Within several blocks: Check out: •Common Grounds Wellness and •The Kennedy School (which has been redesigned from an original elementary school, contains it’s own brewery, theatre, bars, cigar bar, restaurant, and an amazing long lap pool sized hot soaking tub. (See pics) Drag queen bingo on sundays.
