Architect's Space, Taos Plaza

Guests adore the location and the light, clean second floor space. The space Urban Downtown! Just off the North West Corner of Taos Plaza is a fabulous building that was once the winter home of the Santistevan Family. Renovated in 2009, this Historic Hacienda now is home to Living Designs Group Architects, Azteca Mexican Grill and to the Architect's Space. In the summer there flows a tiered fountain in the courtyard, surrounded by walls of Hollyhocks. In the winter the snows of Taos Mountain are visible from the front room. Taos Plaza, place of live music, holiday festivals and the Taos Fiestas are just across the street. My husband and Architect Doug Patterson and renovated this space in 2009. It serves as a vacation rental to lots of Taos visitors and also as our guest house. We love this property, it is truly one of the gems of Taos. This apartment has lots of natural light and an urban feel due to it's downtown location. Ski, raft, hike, trail run, mountain bike, visit the skate park or peruse the galleries and restaurants in and around the historic Taos Plaza. Taos Ski Valley is 25 minutes North of the Taos Plaza. If you like to have the ability to walk places and experience the heart of downtown, this is the place for you; as urban as it gets for Taos.
