Five Ridge Bluff - Secluded Cabin in the Woods

This SECLUDED mountain cabin has it all -- mountain view, a mile of hiking trail, river access, hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, and shooting range. All on 120 acres of private property that you have all to yourselves. The name, 'Five Ridge Bluff' comes from the five mountain ridges that can be seen from the covered porch, the furthest being the Tennessee Valley Divide. Located between the towns of Blue Ridge and Ellijay, you have quick access to restaurants, shopping, outdoor activities, and more. The space Note: We are already recognized by our guests for our exceptional cleanliness. In addition, during these COVID times, we have given attention to recommendations by the CDC. Please be aware that the state of Georgia does not mandate wearing masks. Five Ridge Bluff is a 1400 sq. ft. non-smoking cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, an open dining/living area, and a covered porch. No pets are allowed. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated. The master bedroom, or 'Georgia Coast' room, houses a king bed, sitting area, and an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The 'Western' bedroom has a queen bed, and the 'Georgia Country' bedroom has 2 twin beds. The second bathroom lies between these two smaller bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with all basic appliances, cooking utensils, dishes, and even coffee filters and assorted spices. All linens and basic cleaning supplies and paper goods are also provided. You only need to bring your groceries! The living area has a gas fireplace, HD TV, board games, and books. The wrap around deck has a 5 person hot tub and a gas grill. Outside, enjoy making smores at the firepit, or take a walk on the nature trail which leads you through the woods, along the Ellijay River, and back up to the cabin. Stop along the way to play or fish in the river. Kids love playing in the water at the little island in the river. Enjoy the native flora and fauna in a natural woodland. Relax on the covered porch and watch the geese fly by as the evening sun sets. It is not uncommon to see deer feeding near the cabin in the early morning or twilight hours. An outside shooting range is also available on the private property for those who would like a little target practice, but no hunting allowed! Only 10 minutes to the White Path Golf course, or less than 45 minutes to whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, site of the 1966 Olympics. Horseback riding, zip-line, antique shopping, fine restaurants, wineries, theater, train ride, and many more activities are close by. Other things to note It is nice to know that the cabin has an automatic generator, so you will never be without power in case of an outage. Also, there are brochures of area activities, restaurant menus, and maps in the cabin to help you plan your activities.
