The Tannochbrae sleeps up to 12 guests, (note two bedrooms have triple occupancy) across 5 bedrooms with space for infant cot(s) too. The Tannochbrae has an enviable foyer leading to the Ferguson drawing room and dining room, through to a newly refurbished, stunning kitchen with a dedicated pantry, boot room and utility areas all fully equipped. A sweeping staircase gives access to the 5 spacious ensuite bedrooms, all situated on the first floor 2-off Superking or Twin rooms. 1-off King room 1-off King & Single room (for use as double, twin or triple) 1-off Double & Single room (for use as double,twin or triple) Guest access Our guests can have the entire home to enjoy without staffing or service, or can enjoy a conventional Guest house experience. When enjoying the full home this includes a rear courtyard and kitchen access. The Tannochbrae benefits from a central town location in Dufftown, the heart of Speyside, also known as the Malt Whisky Capital. It has all the amenities on your doorstep as you’d expect with its town location. The house is situated directly on Fife Street, a moment from the iconic Clock Tower for reference. Entering into a beautiful foyer it provides access to a large dining area and drawing room with log fire, soft seating, games, and a TV A courtyard to the rear of the home area gives compact social outdoor space with BBQ grill and imposing outdoor seating. The property has one step to the entrance, gas central heating with ambient energy efficient smart control. Ground Floor comprises: Ferguson Drawing Room: with carpet flooring, log fire, TV, comfortable seating and games. Dining Room: with large table seating 10 with ease and additional table arrangements for when there are more guests. Hallway with ambient motion lighting taking you to ground floor WC and boot & cloak room Access to Bar: this area open when Bar & second Lounge is booked, James will be in attendance for service. Kitchen/Utility/Pantry with tiled floor, tactile Italian solid stone worktops, gas range, microwave, large fridge, Butler station with wine & refreshment chiller, dishwasher and Boiling water tap on demand. Access to rear courtyard for socialising, or storage of bikes etc. Utility room: with washing machine and tumble dryer and sink area Pantry room: with large Freezer and preparation area and crockery storage Court yard: accessed from back door, or from external passage from Fife street. Area is stones laid rather than grass. Can be used to store cycles etc and has furniture and BBQ grill. NB: There are 5 bedrooms, don’t be confused by our names! All bedrooms have TV’s, a dressing table or desk and can have hospitality trays with cups and kettles in situ or removed. Other things to note Parking is readily available on Fife Street, Central to Dufftown, close to the iconic Clock Tower and an enjoyable 1-mile walk to world famous Glenfiddich and The Balvenie Distilleries.
