Waneta Lakeside Cottage

Right on the water with lots of space and fresh air this new and charming cottage is situated in the heart of the Finger Lakes on the east side of Waneta Lake. Ideal for 1 to 2 couples, a girls weekend getaway or families up to 4. There are 2 bedrooms, an open fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area and bathroom with walk-in shower. Dine and relax on the over-sized covered deck overlooking the lake. A stairway from the deck provides access to a private beach with 4 kayaks. The space In addition to the many activities available in the Finger Lakes, the region is ideal for cycling and triathlon training. The lake is great for open water swimming. The roads are reasonably quiet with lots of rolling hills. If you have a bike, bring it! Bikes can be kept in the garage. The autumn is a great time to visit. The fall colors are spectacular in this area and the wine season is in full swing. During most winters the lake freezes and is a popular location for ice fishing, ice sailing and cross lake skiing.
