Mountain Creek Cottage is a private 3 bedroom cottage on 30 acres of Catskills forest. There is a screened porch, deck and back yard with a Hot Tub and fire pit. Approximately 2.5 hours from NYC, Mountain Creek Cottage is a simple and relaxing escape. The space The cottage was built in 1950, but has just been updated and renovated. The cottage is very comfortable for up to 5 people, so we do not allow more than 5 guests. There is a glass-front wood burning stove for chilly nights, and a fire pit outside for summer and fall evenings. The cottage is on a renowned Catskill trout creek, so bring your fishing license and catch some fish. The cottage is located on 30 private acres for you to hike and explore, and is within walking distance or a short drive to several famous Catskill hiking trails. The cottage is 20 minutes from Phoenicia, Margaretville, Prattsville, and 25-30 minutes from Bellayare, Hunter, Tannersville and Windham. Guest access You will be able to use the entire cottage, as well as have access to the 30 private acres surrounding the cottage and the hundreds of acres of NY State wild forest directly adjacent to the cottage property. Well behaved dogs are allowed for an additional $25 cleaning fee. No cats allowed. Other things to note We now have Wi-Fi high speed internet service available! But please note that there is no cell phone service in this part of the Catskills, and we do not have a TV at the cottage. There is a phone in the cottage for your use. The phone number can be provided on request. We do allow max 2 dogs (up to 40lbs each), but you MUST inform us you are bringing a dog when you book.
